Members of all city boards, committees, and commissions appointed by the City Council
of Conway, South Carolina are strongly encouraged to attend all meetings. When a member
must be absent from a meeting, s/he should contact the appropriate city department
in advance, if possible, stating the reason s/he cannot attend the meeting. If the
contact cannot be made in advance of a meeting, then the member should contact the
appropriate city department as soon after as is practicable. When a member has missed
three (3) meetings without adequate reason in a calendar year, or missed three (3)
consecutive meetings, the board, committee or commission shall advise city council
of the absences. City council may, upon further study, terminate the appointment and
