§ 5-2-6. Lands to which this chapter applies.

This chapter shall apply to:

(1)

All areas of special flood hazard as identified by the Federal Emergency Management Agency in its latest flood insurance rate map (current and preliminary), with accompanying maps and other supporting data, and the current flood insurance study and maps dated September 17, 2003, that are hereby adopted by reference and declared to be a part of this chapter; and

(2)

All areas that were flooded during Hurricane Matthew as delineated on the City of Conway regulatory floodplain map that is hereby adopted by reference and declared to be a part of this chapter.

Upon annexation, any special flood hazard areas identified by the Federal Emergency Management Agency in its flood insurance study for the unincorporated areas of Horry County, with accompanying maps and other data, are hereby adopted by reference and declared to be a part of this chapter.
