§ 5-5-1. Unified Development Ordinance.

The City of Conway Unified Development Ordinance in accordance with Title 6, Chapter 29 of the Code of Laws of South Carolina 1976, as amended known as the "South Carolina Local Government Comprehensive Planning Enabling Act of 1994 [is adopted herein by reference].

All utilities, whether public or privately owned, are subject to this ordinance to the extent compliance does not conflict with South Carolina Code Ann. § 6-29-540 (1976, as amended) and does not conflict with existing franchise agreements between the utility and the City of Conway, and only to such extent as would not conflict with the safety, engineering and operational requirements of such utilities.
