§ 6-4-26. Removal of excrement.

  • (a)

    It shall be unlawful to fail to promptly remove and properly dispose of all feces left by an animal on any public property or any private property not owned by the animal's owner.

    (b)

    Failure by the owner to remove feces and improper disposal of fecal matter are deemed unlawful conduct. Violation of this section will be a written warning through December 31, 2007. After January 1, 2008, first violation of this section will be a fine of $25, second offense of this section will be a fine not to exceed $100.
