§ 7-6-4. Limitations.

(a)

No termination of business sale shall extend beyond 120 days.

(b)

Once a termination of business sale application has been made, no additional stock or inventory can be added for sale purposes except merchandise/stock received for orders placed prior to date of application. Proof of these orders should be presented at the time application for termination of business permit is made.

(c)

Replenishment of stock is prohibited.

(d)

Business conducting the termination of business sale cannot reopen within the city for 12 months after conclusion of the sale. A change of name or location within the same city for the purpose of reopening the same business within 12 months would violate these regulations.

(e)

Applicant shall be required to provide additional information relating to the sale as the business license office may deem necessary.

(f)

All signs advertising or announcing a termination of business sale must be in compliance with the city zoning ordinance.
