§ 5-1-40. International Existing Building Code.

(a)

Adoption of Existing Building Code. This section is to be known and referred to as the Existing Building Code for the City of Conway. There is hereby adopted as the Existing Building Code of the City of Conway, the International Existing Building Code, current edition, as amended, a copy of which is to be kept permanently on file in the office of the building official as part of the general ordinances of the City of Conway, with the same being incorporated herein by reference, and without the necessity of setting out and copying in its entirety the said International Existing Building Code current edition, as amended.

(b)

Amendments and revisions. As the various parts of the International Existing Building Code may be amended or revised from time to time in the future by the State of South Carolina such amendments or revisions are adopted by the City of Conway without the necessity of re-enacting and republishing the foregoing provisions of this section in its entirety.
