§ 7-6-3. Permit required.

(a)

Must comply with all requirements outlined in Chapter 1, Business Licenses.

(b)

Any person who will be conducting a termination of business sale shall be required to make application for a termination of business sale permit. The applicant for such permit shall make to the business license office an application therefore, in writing and under oath, at least seven (7) days prior to the opening date of sale. The applicant will provide all facts relating to the reasons and character of such sale, including the opening and terminating dates of the proposed sale and the opening and terminating dates of any previous termination of business sale(s) held by that person within the city during the preceding 12 months.
