§ 3-1-6. Postal mailboxes.
(a)
Guidelines for regulating postal mailboxes on the public rights-of-way:
(1)
No mailbox shall be located upon any street, sidewalk or public rights-of-way located within the area of the City of Conway which now has a mail receptacle on the home (see exemption #3);
(2)
Mailboxes shall be allowed on public rights-of-ways in areas of the city which had mailboxes in the public rights-of-way prior to January 1, 2000; and
(3)
In the event a property owner desires a mailbox in the excluded area, he/she may request permission to place a mailbox by filing with the city planner for permission.
(b)
Nothing in this chapter shall prohibit placement of a mailbox on private property.
